Lunch Returns to Roy’s Waikiki—Don’t Miss These Dishes!

Exciting news for food lovers in Waikiki! As of today, lunch is officially back at Roy’s Waikiki. Located at the Waikiki Beach Walk, Roy’s is now serving lunch daily from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., bringing a much-deserved upgrade to our midday meals.

Roy’s has always been synonymous with exceptional dining, and their lunch offerings do not disappoint. From fresh, local fish to hearty comfort dishes, there’s something to satisfy every palate. Here’s a sneak peek at some of the mouthwatering options you’ll find on the menu:

  • 🐟 Chinese Style Steamed Snapper: Served with a sizzling aromatic relish, this dish is has really well balanced, fresh flavors.
  • 🍤 Gochujang White Shrimp: Paired with Tan Tan risotto, Sumida watercress, confit tomatoes, and peppercorn tare, is a perfect blend of bold and creamy.
  • 🍣 Bigeye Blackened Ahi: Elevated with a soy mustard butter that (I would swim in) complements the fish’s rich flavor.
  • 🦀 HK Style Crab Cakes: Drizzled with spicy sesame butter for an nice kick. My doctor says my crab allergy doesn’t show up on the testing anymore, so I successfully ate one of these & loved it!
  • 🎣 Bigeye Ahi Carpaccio: A refreshing combination of chirashi relish, pickled oranges, garlic soy, and bubu arare.
  • 🐠 Misoyaki Butterfish: Served with forbidden black rice and sweet ginger wasabi beurre blanc, this dish is THE Roy’s classic and always one of my faves.
  • 🐉 Frying Dragon Roll: Unagi, butterfish, avocado, sweet ginger wasabi butter, and tobiko combine in this crispy sushi roll.
  • 🍔 Sambal Plum Glazed 8 oz. Burger: The burger is packed with bacon jack and cheddar, furikake “animal” sauce, and comes with a side of French fries.
  • 🍖 Roy’s Szechuan Pork Ribs: Tender ribs in Mongolian sauce, topped with chives.
  • 🌶️ Kanpachi Crudo: Yuzu kosho white soy, jalapeño, and Kahuku sea asparagus.
  • 🥪 “Hapa” BBQ Duck Confit Monte Cristo: A creative twist on a monte cristo with avocado, pickled red onions, roasted garlic chimichurri, and a side of French fries.

YUM! Everything was incredible, but my personal favorites always involve seafood. The comforting risotto with the white shrimp, the classic blackened ahi, and perfectly tender misoyaki butterfish take my top 3 spots.
