Ono-ya is the newest restaurant to hit Waikiki Yokocho!

Mr. Ono is the owner of Sononya, the Ono-ya at Shirokiya, and Akira, and you can now find him in Waikiki. Chef Ono was working the kitchen when we went for ramen on this rainy morning.

Just like all of his locations, the food was delicious and high-quality. The chef is from Japan, but his ramens have a unique local twist to the flavors.

The new location in Waikiki just opened last week, but was already booming.
