Raising Cane’s Opens in Hawaii

Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers opens in Honolulu today!

Cane’s is a fast food chain known for its chicken fingers, Texas toast, and special sauce.

The first time I tried Cane’s was about 10 years ago while I was staying with my friend in Texas. She RAVED about their sauce, which lived up to the hype.

I can be such a child when I go out to eat, and I sometimes still order chicken fingers off the kids menu (when they let me). So I’m a big chicken finger fan and I was excited to hear that a were coming to Hawaii.

I went to the new Hawaii location for a sneak peak over the weekend, and ordered The Box Combo.

It has been a while since my first taste, but from what I remember…it is just as good as the one in Texas.

The chicken fingers are thick, juicy, and delicious. Although breaded and fried, the chicken isn’t greasy…at all. As far as chicken fingers go, these actually taste pretty healthy!

They have a very limited menu, with just four main combos and a kids combo available.

Three of the combos are chicken finger combos and the last is the sandwich combo, which is basically another chicken finger combo. The chicken sandwich is three chicken strips, Cane’s sauce, and a piece of lettuce in between buns. Not what I was expecting, but still good.

They have a limited selection, but what they do have, they do well.

The holy grail of the combos is the Caniac Combo. This thing is LOADED with 6 chicken fingers, fries, 2 Cane sauces, Texas toast, coleslaw, and a large drink. ( I highly recommend their lemonade)
