Taormina: Mango Mania

Summer time means mango time! Mangoes are easily one of my favorite fruits, and are a favorite for most of us here in Hawaii. With the summer heat, there is almost nothing more satisfying than sinking your teeth into a cool, juicy mango. But, of course, there are many ways to enjoy the vibrant fruit. One place that is seriously doing mango season right is Taormina Sicilian Cuisine.

I recently attended an event at Taormina Sicilian Cuisine which previewed Chef Hiro’s new seasonal dishes “starring mangoes in abundance”. YUM!
